Intro post

Hi my name is Poppy I'm a first year journalism student at Winchester University.

I have moved here from Guernsey - although chances are whoever is reading this will either never heard of Guernsey or will have heard of it but have no idea about it!

I like singing, dancing, debating and reading.  I am excited about being in England and am looking forward to any experiences that come my way.

This is my first post just to get a feel of how to do it and to check it works! I will be keeping this updated frequently about my course and about different views that I will have on related topics.
